What is the ACE District?
The ACE District is Ottawa’s destination for arts, culture and entertainment. Galleries, restaurants, music venues, theatres, shops, studios, festivals, cafés, bars and public cultural spaces. All in one connected creative district.
The ACE District is part of Ottawa’s downtown action plan and a driver of urban renewal. It recognizes that arts, culture and entertainment are at the core of Ottawa’s quality of life and its economy and seeks to provide more visibility and connectivity to help downtown and the city to thrive.
It’s a collaborative project supported by the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Art Gallery, business leaders, cultural institutions and organizations, and small businesses and creative entrepreneurs across downtown.
